LOS ANGELES – Loeb & Loeb LLP has announced that Daniel A. Platt has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as a partner in the Litigation Practice. He joins from the Los Angeles office of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP where he was a partner.
Platt focuses on commercial litigation and is experienced in several industries and areas of practice, including aviation, healthcare, partnership disputes, contracts, trusts and estates litigation, banking, securities, financial services, real estate and employment.

Prior to joining Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Platt was Executive Vice President, President and Director of two joint venture projects with United Technologies Corporation. Platt was responsible for all litigation, negotiation of maintenance and storage contracts with airlines and aircraft lessors, as well as agreements for the purchase and sale of engines, aircraft and related parts.

Platt was recently appointed to a three-year term as a hearing examiner by the Los Angeles Police Commission. He received his B.S. from Cornell University, and his J. D. from Fordham Law School.
