This year, the Conference returns to the La Quinta Resort & Club near Palm Springs and features topics designed for consumer and business practitioners, as well as financial advisors. It also includes an ethics session that focuses on social media. Nine joint ABI committee sessions provided by ABI’s 18 committees are in the lineup, along with a Great Debates plenary session and 13 topical sessions, providing up to 12.5/15 hours of CLE/CPE credit and 2.75/3 hours of ethics! A record 22 current and former bankruptcy judges are included in the expert facility. The luncheon speaker this year will be Theresa Payton, former Chief Information Officer at the White house and an expert on identity theft and cybersecurity. The Final Night Dinner will deliver a special performance by Fran Cosmo, former lead singer of the rock group Boston. As always, the Winter Conference will also provide numerous social and fun events to network and renew friendships with your colleagues from around the nation, all in a sunny and comfortable setting.
