Represented Los Angeles County in connection with a multi-year license and acquisition of approximately 34 acres in the Santa Monica Mountains from Simon T. The land, now known as the 69 Bravo Helistop, provides critical emergency firefighting and air ambulance services in a particularly dry portion of the fire-prone Santa Monica Mountains.
69 Bravo serves as a remote base for water-dropping helicopters to replenish water tanks from four 6,000 gallon water reservoirs (known as “pumpkins”) and provides a 10,000 gallon water tank that feeds nine fire hydrants as well as other advanced audio/video monitoring equipment. A crucial resource for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, 69 Bravo helps protect the Santa Monica Mountains, Topanga Canyon, Malibu and surrounding communities from wildfires.
