Overview

Dimitry Krol maintains an entertainment and advertising practice focused on guild, union and other production related matters. Dimitry regularly advises clients on guild and union obligations, risks and legal concerns which may arise during all phases of theatrical, television, digital, new media, interactive and commercial projects. He guides clients through complex guild and labor issues related to development, production, distribution, residuals and benefit obligations. He advises clients regarding advertising and influencer promotions, compliance and production safety, minors and foreign talent. Dimitry handles guild and union negotiations with the WGA, SAG-AFTRA, DGA, AFM, IATSE and Teamsters and mediations, arbitrations and NLRB proceedings against such guilds and unions. 

With an employment litigation background formerly representing plaintiffs and defendants in individual and class action claims, Dimitry advises clients on wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, misappropriation of trade secrets and workers compensation benefits, as well as wage and hour violations. Dimitry also provides harassment, discrimination, retaliation and bullying prevention training tailored to the entertainment industry.
