The PDF Binder tool allows users to download select information about our firm, professionals and capabilities. The information may be exported to a PDF, which can be printed, or sent via an email that includes a set of links.

To add a page to your customized binder, select "Add to Binder" at the top of any page. You may select as many pages as you would like to export or email. Once you have compiled your binder, please click on the binder icon, which will show you how many items you have selected. You may then choose to export the information or email the set of links.

Brian Socolow focuses on the representation of players, teams, event owners, media companies, equipment manufacturers and others in the sports industry. He has successfully represented sports companies in a wide range of matters, including media negotiations and distribution agreements, naming rights, sponsorships and endorsement agreements, trademark licenses, the purchase and sale of sports properties and operational matters for events, such as venue agreements and insurance matters. He has extensive experience litigating sports-related matters including a number of copyright and trademark matters, contractual disputes and technology matters.

Mr. Socolow has successfully developed a niche helping emerging sports negotiate media deals, license deals and other agreements enabling them to grow their sport and develop their brand. He has represented a wide range of sports leagues, event owners and media agencies, such as United World Sports, Burton Snowboards and AdLarge Media, in strategic television and media deals involving television and radio broadcast rights, internet distribution and marketing rights, live webcasting of events, exclusive ad partnerships and sponsorships. Mr. Socolow has a particular experience in the rapidly growing sports data sector, counseling manufacturers of wearable technology devices and sports technology companies on data use, licensing and related matters. In addition, he regularly comments on sports-related topics as a legal contributor on leading media outlets such as CNN, ESPN Radio, WSJ.com, and other print, radio and online media outlets.

In addition to his sports practice, Mr. Socolow has extensive experience representing clients in a wide range of intellectual property, entertainment and complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts throughout the country.
