Loeb & Loeb Receives High Accolades in Managing IP’s 2013 World IP Handbook

Loeb & Loeb LLP’s Intellectual Property Protection Practice again received high marks in Managing Intellectual Property (IP) magazine’s annual World IP Handbook and Survey, a premier reference guide for U.S. and international in-house counsel and private-practice lawyers seeking IP expertise in the United States. The 2013 handbook recommended Loeb & Loeb as a leading law firm in the areas of Trademark Prosecution, Trademark Contentious and Copyright law, both in the nationwide rankings, as well as across the New York, California and Illinois regions. In New York, Loeb & Loeb was also recommended for excellence in the area of Patent Contentious law.

Thirteen Loeb & Loeb partners were recognized as 2013 “IP Stars” by Managing IP. In its inaugural edition, IP Stars is a new segment of the publication’s annual World IP Handbook and Survey, highlighting the country’s leading individual intellectual property attorneys based on their specific areas of expertise and the various industries and technology areas served.

The Loeb & Loeb attorneys recognized in the 2013 handbook include: John T. Frankenheimer, David W. Grace, David Grossman, Adam G. Kelly, Barry E. Mallen, Douglas N. Masters, Nerissa Coyle McGinn, Barry I. Slotnick, Mark E. Waddell, Laura A. Wytsma and Jonathan Zavin.

Managing IP magazine’s annual survey of the world IP market covers more than 80 countries, and the rankings are based on extensive research among IP practitioners carried out over six months starting in September of each year. A team of researchers in London, New York and Hong Kong sought responses from thousands of practitioners by phone, fax and email and in face-to-face meetings.
