Leadership in Law
The members of our Tax Exempt Organizations Group exemplify the very qualities that our clients strive for every day. We are leaders in our communities and committed to the changing landscape of the industry. For example, Eliot P. Green, the New York Chair of the Tax Exempt Organizations Group, serves as Chair of the New York City Bar Association's Exempt Organizations Committee. He is also Chair of the Board of YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities, the largest provider of healthcare services to persons with disabilities in the United States, as well as a member of the Board of the Association of Small Foundations, a membership organization of family foundations without staff. He recently was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Children's Aid Society, the oldest and largest provider of services to children and families in New York State.
In addition, Leah Bishop, Los Angeles Chair of the Tax Exempt Organizations Group is actively involved in numerous professional and charitable organizations, including serving as Vice President and Trustee of the Jewish Community Foundation; Member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) Exempt Organizations Committee; Member of the Professional Advisory Council for the Motion Picture and Television Fund; and Member of the Advisory Council for the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law.
To keep abreast of industry developments, our lawyers are members of the American Health Lawyers Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. We also serve as faculty members to the Jewish Community Foundation Charitable Giving Course and UCLA Extension Wealth Management Course.
