Leadership in Law

Members of Loeb & Loeb’s Talent Group are extensively involved in the industry. We serve as counsel to the Sundance Film Institute and advise the Academy of Country Music on legal issues. We are actively involved in groups such as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Motion Picture Association of America. The Chair of our Talent practice, Craig Emanuel, has been profiled in Variety magazine’s “Hollywood Impact List” as being a “go-to” lawyer in the entertainment business.

The Talent Group received high praise in the annual Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. Sources referenced in the guide said that members of the group are “thorough, work to tight deadlines, and always manage to find the balance between aggressive representation and the need to make a deal.” Chambers also awarded Loeb & Loeb the prestigious Chambers Award for Excellence in Media in 2010, one of the highest honors that a firm can receive in this area.

As recognized experts in the industry, members of our group frequently lecture at industry events such as the UCLA Entertainment Symposium; the University of Southern California Institute on Entertainment Law and Business; the ALI/ABA Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Symposium; and the Paul Kagan Entertainment Symposium.
