Steven Fairchild has significant experience in cases involving pharmaceutical drug manufacturers. His experience includes playing a significant role in litigation before the International Trade Commission where he helped to defend successfully a multinational pharmaceutical company against a preliminary injunction. Mr. Fairchild uncovered key evidence that demonstrated the client qualified for the research exemption to patent infringement under 35 U.S.C. 271(e)(1). Moreover, Mr. Fairchild has participated in many facets of Hatch-Waxman litigation, including discovery and witness preparation.
