Loeb & Loeb Shortlisted for China Law & Practice 2013 Private Equity Deal of the Year

Loeb & Loeb has been recognized by China Law & Practice as a finalist for the 2013 Private Equity Deal of the Year for the firm’s representation of Fushi Copperweld, Inc., in the $366 million management buyout of its chairman and co-chief executive officer and affiliated entities. The transaction was led by Mitchell S. Nussbaum, Chair of Loeb & Loeb's Capital Markets and Asia Practices, along with partners David C. Fischer and Tahra T. Wright.

In making the selections for the eighth annual awards, the China Law & Practice panel seeks to honor “innovation, complexity, and market impact” and to select finalists “based on the extent to which their work has influenced the legal market and benefited the quality and development of China’s legal landscape.” China Law & Practice is part of the Euromoney Institutional Investor’s Legal Media Group, which also includes Asialaw and IFLR.
