Loeb & Loeb Securities Group Ranked by IPO Vital Signs and PrivateRaise.com

NEW YORK - According to IPO Vital Signs, an IPO information database, Loeb & Loeb LLP ranked #11 in the U.S. for IPO law firms representing the issuer in IPOs that closed in 2007. This marks a steady incline in Loeb’s overall ranking; Loeb took the #13 spot in 2006.

Loeb attorneys also made an impressive showing in their individual rankings this year. Securities Practice Group Chair, Mitch Nussbaum, was ranked the #5 IPO lawyer in the U.S. for the number of closed IPOs representing issuers in 2007. He was responsible for the closing of three IPOs at a total offering amount of $398.5 million. Partner Fran Stoller and associate Giovanni Caruso were newcomers to the list this year, both ranked #6 with two IPOs each; Stoller’s at a total offering amount of $300 million and Caruso’s at $298.5 million. These rankings were published as part of IPO Vital Signs league tables in their online publication, The IPO Week in Review.

Overall, Loeb & Loeb represented five issuer and two underwriter clients who completed SPAC offerings in 2007 (IPO Vital Signs), with deals ranging from $30 million to $240 million for clients in diverse and growing industries in the U.S., China and Latin America.

In addition, PrivateRaise.com ranked Loeb & Loeb in 11th place in the "Top 25 PIPE Issuer Law Firms," providing counsel on seventeen deals totaling $193.44 million in 2007. Loeb & Loeb also ranked 14th place in the "Top 25 PIPE Investor Law Firms," providing counsel on eight deals totaling $40.95 million in 2007.
