Ivy Kagan Bierman Elected Chair of Anti-Defamation League Southwest Regional Board

Loeb & Loeb partner Ivy Kagan Bierman was elected as Chair of the Anti-Defamation League Pacific Southwest Regional Board at its Annual Meeting on June 14 in Los Angeles. She will serve a two-year term through June 2018.

Ms. Bierman has been very active with the ADL in Los Angeles for more than 20 years, serving as the region’s Board Secretary and Executive Committee member as well as on various ADL committees. She also serves the ADL on a national level as an Associate National Commissioner.

“I am very passionate about the invaluable work of the ADL in fighting bigotry, hatred and anti-Semitism,” said Ms. Bierman. “With a son who is in a gay, multi-cultural, inter-faith marriage, the ADL mission strongly resonates with me. I’m proud to be presiding over the regional board to help lead this important organization in promoting justice and fair treatment for all.”
 
Named “Entertainment Lawyer of the Year” in 2015 by the Beverly Hills Bar Association, Ms. Bierman concentrates her practice on the representation of entertainment and related companies in high profile transactional and litigation matters.

Throughout her career, Ms. Bierman has committed herself to giving back to the entertainment industry and to the community through social, political and philanthropic endeavors. In addition to her ADL activities, she also serves on the Hollywood Radio & Television Society Board and previously served many years on the Women in Film Board. She is also one of the founders of a newly-formed Entertainment Industry Women’s Alliance.
