Loeb & Loeb Elects Seven Attorneys to Partnership

NEW YORK (August 1, 2016) – Loeb & Loeb LLP is pleased to announce the election of seven attorneys to the firm’s partnership. Amir Azaran and Alison Pollock Schwartz in the firm’s Chicago office; William M. Brody and Robert J. Catalano in the Los Angeles office; and Wook Hwang and Daniel M. Yarmish in the New York office have been promoted to partner.

Amir Azaran – Advanced Media and Technology, Chicago

Amir Azaran is a transactional attorney with a focus on technology, licensing and advertising matters. His experience spans many industries, including financial services, healthcare, advertising, manufacturing and retail, and includes transactions involving online advertising, agency services, digital commerce, software licensing, mobile applications, cloud computing, telecommunications, patent and trademark licensing, and outsourcing. He received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.

William M. Brody – Litigation, Los Angeles

Will Brody maintains a broad-based litigation practice. He has extensive experience litigating disputes and appeals in both federal and state courts. Brody has represented clients in a wide range of matters, including entertainment, corporate, real estate and regulatory matters on behalf of clients such as accounting firms, film studios, production companies, individuals and private companies. He earned his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.

Robert J. Catalano – Litigation, Los Angeles

Robert Catalano is a trial attorney focusing on complex business litigation, with an emphasis on disputes involving real property. He is well versed in litigating claims related to the interpretation and enforcement of real estate-related contracts, partnership and limited liability company agreements, commercial leases, real estate purchase and sale agreements, title insurance coverage, easement rights and lender liability disputes. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Wook Hwang – Litigation, New York

Wook Hwang maintains a diverse litigation practice with an emphasis on complex business litigation and intellectual property disputes. Hwang has represented clients in all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution in a variety of industries and practice areas, ranging from entertainment and media to financial and investment services, insurance, employment and real estate. Hwang earned his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.

Alison Pollock Schwartz – Advanced Media and Technology, Chicago

Alison Pollock Schwartz focuses her practice on complex technology and outsourcing transactions, with concentrations in business process and IT outsourcing, joint ventures, strategic alliances and technology-related commercial transactions. Schwartz received her J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School where she was a member of the Order of the Coif.

Daniel M. Yarmish – Trusts and Estates, New York

Daniel Yarmish concentrates his practice on estate planning for individuals and families across the wealth spectrum and on the administration of estates and trusts. His practice extends to all facets of estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning and encompasses multi-jurisdictional and international matters. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law.
