Loeb & Loeb Handles 7 of the Top Manhattan Office Leases in First Half of 2014, Including 3 in the Top 10

Loeb & Loeb LLP handled seven of Manhattan's 50 largest office leases (based on square footage) in the first half of 2014, according to a report published in Crain's New York Business based on data provided by CoStar Group.

Loeb & Loeb represented Brookfield Office Properties, as landlord, in the lease of nearly 700,000 square feet of office, auditorium and studio space to Time, Inc. for the company's new headquarters located at 225 Liberty Street.

Also at 225 Liberty Street, Loeb & Loeb represented BNY Mellon, as tenant, in connection with the lease of 358,000 square feet of office space for the bank's new headquarters.

The firm provided tenant's counsel to Neuberger Berman Group LLC in its 355,000-square-foot headquarters lease at 1290 Avenue of the Americas.

On behalf of Trinity Real Estate, Loeb & Loeb negotiated the renewal of Workman Publishing Company's 63,000-square-foot lease at 225 Varick Street in Hudson Square.

Loeb & Loeb was also represented on Crain's list of New York City's top 25 property sales (ranked by price) from the first half of 2014. The firm's representation of ISE Realty Group Inc. in the $255 million sale of an office building at 555 Broadway to Scholastic was featured at #12 on the list.
