Nancy Leith is a patent agent engaged in the firm's Intellectual Property and Patent practice. Ms. Leith is primarily involved in drafting patent applications and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical, mechanical, business method, digital entertainment, mobile payment and ornamental design fields. Ms. Leith also performs patentability, validity, infringement and freedom-to-operate searches for pharmaceutical products, treatment methods, diagnostic methods, mechanical methods and products, business methods, digital entertainment methods and products, mobile payment methods and products and ornamental designs; and analyzes the search results. Ms. Leith also has extensive experience with patent litigation support.

Ms. Leith also has more than 20 years of scientific experience, including DNA sequence analysis, biotechnology laboratory techniques, development of diagnostic test kits, and teaching undergraduate laboratory courses.

Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb LLP, Ms. Leith worked as a patent agent at Rakoczy Molino Mazzochi Siwik LLP and Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox P.L.L.C. Ms. Leith also worked as a primary patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
