Michael L. Molinaro's national practice focuses on bankruptcy, reorganization and commercial law matters, representing parties in all facets of bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court workouts and restructurings.  His practice includes representing secured creditors, sub-debt holders, credit card issuers, asset purchasers, lessors, private equity investors, franchisors and other parties in interest before the United States Bankruptcy Courts on contested matters pending throughout the country.

Mr. Molinaro also has significant experience representing insurance companies, secured and unsecured lenders, financial service companies and many other clients on a wide variety of commercial finance transactions, including health care, real estate, credit card, leasing, franchise, hedge fund and derivative transactions.

Mr. Molinaro has published numerous articles on various aspects of bankruptcy law and is a frequent lecturer who has spoken on a variety of commercial and bankruptcy law topics, including the treatment of derivative transactions, cramdown, modification of the stay, partnership bankruptcies and lender liability.

Prior Work Experience

Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb, Mr. Molinaro chaired the Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Creditors' Rights practice group at Neal Gerber & Eisenberg LLP.
