Associate
Michael Ridgway Jones maintains a diverse practice with a particular emphasis on representing media, telecommunications, technology and financial services companies in intellectual property and technology licensing, collaboration, joint venture, development, and implementation transactions. He has particular experience in the areas of internet and mobile advertising, new and emerging media (including social media), pharmaceutical licensing and collaborations, and software and technology licensing and outsourcing. Mr. Jones drafts, negotiates and analyzes IP, technology and software agreements of all types, and regularly advises clients in those areas in connection with privacy implications, regulatory compliance and a wide variety of legal and business issues.
In addition, Mr. Jones assists for-profit and non-profit clients in trademark and copyright compliance, prosecution, advice and policing, as well as in advertising compliance. He also supervises due diligence for patent, trademark and copyright assets in securitizations, mergers, asset purchases and other corporate transactions in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, information technology, financial services and entertainment.
Prior Work Experience
Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb LLP, Mr. Jones was an intellectual property associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
