Loeb & Loeb LLP is proud to sponsor the Minority Corporate Counsel Association's 10th Annual CLE Expo, where partner Theresa Davis will be on a panel titled "Stemming the Rising Tide of SOX Whistleblower Retaliation Claims."
From the conference website:
Corporate counsel continue to face new legal challenges resulting from the demands posed by an ever-expanding group of pressure points – from increasingly activist shareholders to zealous regulators, media watchdogs, internet pirates, litigious consumers, security threats, anda quick-to-judge globally-linked “court of public opinion.” It’s a lot to cope with for even the most astute attorney. Add to that the continued effects of a lagging economy, and management’s mandates to do more with less. All the while, you’re reminded of how important it is to tend to your own career and professional networks because so many of your colleagues have been displaced. It’s a daunting set of challenges.
Let us help you! MCCA understands the complex world in which you work – and we’ve developed educational sessions just for you! The 10th Annual CLE Expo was designed to provide YOU with the solutions you need to meet these challenges and send you home with the technological and substantive knowledge to address them, as well as lots of valuable professional contacts to expand your personal network. Now more than ever, MCCA’s CLE Expo is THE meeting to attend.
