Mary Burkhalter is a senior paralegal engaged in the firm's Trusts and Estates practice.

Ms. Burkhalter has over 25 years of experience as a probate and tax specialist. She is well-versed in drafting all major documents necessary to commence and close probate administration and revocable trust administration, with special emphasis on estate and trust accounting procedures.

Ms. Burkhalter regularly prepares estate and gift tax returns including valuation of assets, post mortem estate planning and preparation of audit documents.

She is also an instructor in the UCLA Extension Paralegal Program in probate procedure, and has taught estate tax concepts and procedures at the California State University Paralegal Program in Los Angeles.

Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb, Ms. Burkhalter was a senior paralegal at O'Melveny & Myers LLP and Kindel & Anderson.
