Loeb & Loeb Securities Group Leads in 2008 Mid-Year Rankings

NEW YORK - Loeb & Loeb ranked #10 (tied with Davis Polk) in the U.S. among law firms representing issuers in IPOs that closed the first half of year as compiled by IPO Vital Signs. This marks a steady incline in the firm’s overall rankings -- Loeb placed #11 in 2007 and #13 in 2006. Overall, Loeb attorneys advised on 7 deals totaling $766.5 million. IPO Vital Signs, an IPO research analysis tool, assists IPO professionals and pre-IPO companies with research in the IPO process.

In addition, Loeb & Loeb ranked #3 as PIPE investors' counsel and #5 as PIPE issuers' counsel by the number of deals. Overall, Loeb attorneys advised on 17 deals totaling $200.3 million for the first half of the year. These rankings were published in PrivateRaise.com’s "PIPEs Scorecard" for legal counsel in the July 15th edition of The PIPEs Report - News, Information and Analysis of Private Investments in Public Equity by DealFlow Media.
