Emily Haus represents individuals and companies in general commercial litigation, internal investigations and corporate compliance and white collar criminal defense. Ms. Haus also conducts internal investigations and responds to government inquiries, both criminal and civil.
In civil matters, she has successfully represented businesses in a broad variety of business and commercial disputes, including claims for fraud, consumer fraud, breach of contract, and violations of state false advertising and gift card laws. Ms. Haus has defended clients in both individual and class action disputes. She advises Fortune 50 and other clients concerning gift card and rebate regulation and compliance, as well as unclaimed property issues. She has counseled clients responding to FTC inquiries related to alleged FTC Act and related statutes. She has also counseled clients in connection with internal investigations of FCPA issues.
In criminal matters, Ms. Haus has investigated and defended, including at trial, charges of tax fraud, money laundering, FCPA violations and related conspiracy charges. She has also responded to SEC inquiries related to insider trading and other securities violations.
Ms. Haus' pro bono involvement includes collaboration on an impact litigation project with the ACLU, representation of an indigent client in a collection matter, participation in a criminal record expungement community outreach project, and serving as a guardian ad litem in the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services program.

Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb LLP, Ms. Haus was an associate at Foley & Lardner LLP.
