Loeb & Loeb LLP represented Cyalume Technologies Holdings, Inc., the world leader in chemical-light technology, in the acquisition of JFC Technologies, LLC (JFC). JFC, a leading researcher, developer and manufacturer of specialty chemicals, will be operated as a wholly owned subsidiary under the name Cyalume Specialty Products Inc.

Loeb & Loeb attorneys Mitchell Nussbaum and Giovanni Caruso represented Cyalume Technologies Holdings in the transaction.

The acquisition of JFC, a long-time Cyalume partner, will substantially augment the company's research and development, and production capabilities, while allowing Cyalume to more effectively manage its supply chain and manufacture its active chemical components domestically. The transaction was unanimously approved by the boards of directors of both companies.

Cyalume offers a suite of chemical-light products, primarily for United States and NATO military training and battlefield operation, and for public safety professionals worldwide.
