Channing Johnson focuses his practice on corporate and securities matters, with a concentration in the media, technology and entertainment sectors.

Mr. Johnson represents public and private companies in a variety of industries, including music, film and television production and distribution, animation, manufacturing, retail (clothing, food and beverage), Internet commerce and investment banking.

Mr. Johnson has extensive experience in advising entertainment and media clients. He counsels clients with respect to the issuance of securities, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture and financing agreements, distribution agreements, affiliate carriage agreements, publishing and co-publishing agreements, production deals, tour agreements and talent contracts. Mr. Johnson's media clients are involved with all modes of distribution (broadcast, cable, theatrical and Internet) and seek legal advice with regard to various kinds of corporate financings; production, financing and distribution agreements; synchronization rights agreements; soundtrack deals; co-branding agreements; and sponsorship agreements.

Prior Work Experience

Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb LLP, Mr. Johnson was a co-founding partner of the Los Angeles office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.
