Career Opportunities Overview

Loeb & Loeb is proud to provide the highest-quality service and value to our clients.  But, in order to maintain the high standards we've set for our firm, we know how important it is to attract and retain the best legal talent and staff.

We meet that challenge by providing our associates with the opportunities and resources it takes to become great attorneys and give our staff the support and training to squarely meet the demands of today's legal profession. Those opportunities are further supported in the values we maintain: rewarding the work of all those at the firm with an atmosphere of respect and support; ensuring a commitment to diversity; and reminding ourselves, our associates and our staff that a healthy work/life balance is important.

Our Approach
Our broad range of services provides a challenging intellectual environment in which to practice law. Our sophisticated level of representation begins with a collaborative approach where lawyers often work on a transaction or with a client whose matters originated in another practice area. An entertainment client, for example, may need to address international tax considerations in an upcoming transaction, or a corporate merger may encompass real estate issues and intellectual property protection issues. These complex transactions allow our associates to experience a variety of practice areas and legal issues.

Our Environment
Successfully handling a multifaceted transaction takes close cooperation and teamwork among the different practice groups, attorneys and support staff. At Loeb & Loeb we know how important the working environment is to fueling that level of camaraderie and are dedicated to providing the tools, technology and training it takes to be successful. As evidenced by our ranking in the 2005 American Lawyer Mid-level Associate Satisfaction Survey, the firm is exceeding its goal of providing a great environment for lawyers. For mid-level associate satisfaction, the firm was ranked in first place in Los Angeles and in 31st position among the 160 participating firms nationwide. Ranking was based on mid-level associates' responses to a variety of questions pertaining to the quantity and quality of work; benefits and compensation; relationship with fellow attorneys; training and guidance; and firm culture.

Our Associates and Staff
Our recruiting efforts target entry-level law students, experienced lateral attorneys and experienced legal support staff.

Loeb & Loeb's Summer Associate Program is designed to give first- and second-year law students the opportunity to learn about the firm, take on meaningful assignments and add perspective through their contributions. Based in our Los Angeles office, the intimate structure of the program allows participants to fill entry-level positions and get a taste of day-to-day life at the firm.

Our lateral recruiting efforts are focused on expanding our depth and breadth through the addition of experienced attorneys.

The firm also conducts an active recruiting effort for other professionals looking for new opportunities and rewarding legal careers.
