Stefan Schick has experience representing a broad range of clients in the areas of film, theater, music, advertising, promotions and Internet law. His primary focus is live stage theatrical productions.
He represents producers, investors, playwrights, bookwriters, composers, directors and designers for Broadway, Off-Broadway, touring and foreign live stage productions, as well as licensing agencies and film studios for live stage matters. He has recently worked on complex deals for the licensing of music rights in connection with so-called “jukebox” musicals, and for the licensing and financing of theatrical productions outside the United States.
Mr. Schick regularly counsels clients on copyright and other intellectual property matters. He also has extensive experience with issues relating to online privacy, website development and content deals, and all types of contracts relevant to advertising and marketing arrangements, including advertising agency/client agreements, celebrity talent deals, and sponsorship and co-promotion agreements.
