Lawrence Venick is a partner at Loeb & Loeb LLP, where he practices corporate and securities law. Mr. Venick regularly advises companies on a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including corporate governance responsibilities, SEC disclosure obligations, and stock market listing and compliance requirements. He serves as outside general counsel for numerous public and private companies, assisting them with their day-to-day business transactions and other legal matters. Mr. Venick also has extensive transactional experience, including mergers and acquisitions, public equity and debt offerings, tender and exchange offers, corporate restructurings, and venture capital financings.
Mr. Venick currently splits his time between the firm’s Beijing and Hong Kong offices. He serves as the Chief Legal Representative of the firm’s Beijing office and is a Registered Foreign Lawyer and the senior U.S. partner in the firm’s Hong Kong office. Prior to moving to China, Mr. Venick spent eight years in Loeb’s corporate department in Los Angeles. He was recognized as a rising star in the Southern California Super Lawyers edition of Los Angeles magazine from 2006-2012.
