Arthur Adelberg has had a diverse career in government, corporate management and private practice. He served a litigator in the Office of the General Counsel at the Federal Trade Commission, representing the agency before the federal courts in antitrust and consumer protection matters. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of a vertically integrated electric utility company. He was appointed Senior Counsel to the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs for the Special Investigation of Hurricane Katrina. He joined Loeb & Loeb in 2009 as Of Counsel in the firm’s Washington Office.
Mr. Adelberg has extensive experience representing energy clients before regulatory agencies, courts, Congressional Committees and Executive Branch departments. He has appeared on behalf of a wide range of energy market participants, including utilities, transmission companies, independent power producers, power marketers and others. He has litigated complex regulatory and antitrust cases and provided strategic advice to Boards of Directors and corporate management. He has also testified in Congress on behalf of industry groups on several occasions. He is a frequent public speaker on energy and homeland security issues.

Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb LLP, Mr. Adelberg was a partner in the Washington, DC office of Day Pitney LLP.
