Dana Scott Fried concentrates his practice in all aspects of ERISA, employee benefits and executive compensation. He advises clients on such matters in the context of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, venture capital, bankruptcy proceedings, investment issues and litigation. He also drafts and advises on qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and employment, change of control, retention, equity compensation and incentive agreements and arrangements, and advises clients with respect to plan administration, fiduciary and funding issues. Mr. Fried advises foreign clients on employee benefits and executive compensation issues for their U.S. affiliates and employees. He also frequently advises not-for-profit clients on the special rules applicable to their employee benefit plans and executive compensation arrangements.
